"Inspired by independent films and celestial bodies, Moonrise Candle Co. started as a hobby before becoming a father and son candle company in 2015. Original hand-drawn illustrations and simple fragrance combinations emphasize a minimal design in aesthetic and function. We encourage sustainability through repurposing our jars and by offering jar wax refills in biodegradable packaging for our Astral Collection. Moonrise is now represented by the hard work of Alexander, Paul, and Gabriel, and we continue to imagine new ways candles and fragrance help you feel your space through intention and feeling. Our candles are available in many shops and boutiques around the central Pennsylvania area as well as from our studio...in Harrisburg." (Bio statement sent from Alexander)

"Jessica Jacobs specializes in controlled-watercolor and ink, with an emphasis on naturalism and realism. She moved to Wellsville, PA with her family in October 2020. Originally from Milford, PA in the Pocono Mountains.
Jessica began creating art, with a matriarchy of artists before her. She began with plein art oil classes as a child of 7 years, with her mother. Her love of painting and biology began a journey into watercolor nature studies. She decided that watercolor was her medium during the pregnancy of her son, Julius, in 2013. Entomology, nature, botany, and food are her inspiration; the little things in nature, that often go unnoticed, or only exist for a fleeting moment. The breathe of life on a mushroom, salamander or moth's wings, a delicious treat made by caring hands. The symbolic relationship between the forest and mankind.
Jessica has served the community of Northern York County and abroad, by designing logos and websites for local businesses; she designed the Northern York Fire Rescue station #15's new Pickleman mascot, that can be seen on their hose trucks in Dillsburg, PA. She was nominated and won Harrisburg Magazine's simply the art category, for Best Watercolor Artist in 2022. You can find her art at local markets and pop-up expos in the central PA area." My business catchphrase is "Moments in Time -- Memories Forever." I have seen it many times over where a piece of my artwork or a photograph has jogged a person's memory of a specific moment and their emotions flood in. That's when it becomes very personal for them and so rewarding for me. (Statement provided by artist.)

Eastern Woodlands Collection
This original, handcrafted botanical jewelry was the beginning of Metalledwith. In the first few days of Spring, as the leaf buds open, the tiny leaves are collected from trees and preserved. The pendant bezels are handcrafted and the botanicals are resin cast to preserve their quality. There is an emphasis on native trees in the “eastern woodlands” line, as flora defines a sense of place. Made in and from Pennsylvania. (Excerpt from provided artist's page)

"I love to create with the natural elements, crystals, and the wire to make the Earth Beat pendants. Connecting them with the person that deserves to have them to assist in the healing process or just awaken the spirit to higher frequencies.
May your journey be filled with Love and Peace."
